Lighthouse Launcher: Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
Lighthouse Launcher is a home screen app for Android, made by Glimpse Media. This page explains what it does with your information. In short: it collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
What the app stores
Everything you set up is kept only on your phone, in the app's own private storage: which apps are on which screen, folders, colours, clock choices, and (if you switch the Emergency button on) the one name and phone number you type in. This information never leaves the phone. Uninstalling the app removes it.
What the app does not do
- It has no internet permission, so it cannot send or receive anything over the internet.
- It has no advertisements, no analytics, no tracking and no accounts.
- It does not read your contacts, messages, location, photos, microphone or camera.
- It does not share anything with anyone.
Permissions
- Make phone calls: used only by the optional Emergency button. When you touch that button, a 20 second countdown starts that you can cancel, and then the phone places one call to the number you chose. Lighthouse does not listen to the call, record it or check whether it was answered.
- Set wallpaper: used only when you choose “Change the wallpaper” in Settings.
The app can see which apps are installed, so it can show them on your screens. That list stays on the phone.
Children
Lighthouse Launcher is made for older people and the people who help them. It is not aimed at children and collects no information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be on this page with a new date.
